When I saw this I litterally said OH MY GAWD...out loud. I put my hands on my ears to drown out the sound, but my eyes could not turn away from the screen. Ummmmm...I'm still in shock. I aint able.
All those Wayans boys are suspect!

So...
So last night's Beyonce concert was just awesome. My voice is still recovering. Wish I had some pics for y'all but nothing is good enough to post. Her set is super bright. Her costumes either glow in the dark or they're flashy and reflective of the light, so she's glowing like a ghost in all of the pics I took. It really is one of the best concerts I've been to though. For Single Ladies, I loved that she posted blurbs from all of the well known Youtube performances, so the fat dude in the leotard, this dude who I happen to think dances BETTER than Bey, the little girl, etc., well they all got their 15 minutes of fame. Funny and cute. Another cute moment is a home video of Bey singing at five...reminds me of a young janet acting like May West. Adorable.
So Richgirl opened for Bey. They kind of remind me of old school Destiny Child, when there were four girls. I like the girls, but they're inexperience is so obvious. The set was boring. They stood on some ladders (blah) and gyrated (not to be confused with dancing) and screamed into the mic. It's obvious they can sing, but I think they just lack the experience necessary to not come across as screeching. The first song is catchy. The second song was, "Over the Rainbow". Blah. Their last song is the one they're most known for. They finished the song and were off the stage in less than fifteen minutes. They need some material asap. Two and a half songs???? I wasn't impressed.
So the dude sitting next to me might be in some trouble when he gets home tonight. lol. Me and sis were sitting in our seats when they arrived...dude and a woman. My first thought is that she's his girlfriend, but he was so super friendly with me that I thought well maybe she's his sister. He spent an anormous amount of time talking to me about Bey, the crowd (like the drunken dude three seats down who KEPT having us move out of his way so he could go to the bathroom!) - just random small stuff and she was just sitting there. He was cute, but something about him screamed GAY and since there were a lot of gay dudes in the audience (y'all know they love Bey) I figured maybe he was her gay friend. He bought me and sis a beer. Yuck. I actually gave in to peer pressure and drank the beer because sis didn't want to drink alone. I hate beer, plus I had already had an apple martini. Mixing drinks is not smart, but i was good. By the time Bey came out we were all fast friends...excluding the gf that I wasn't sure was the gf. Throughout Bey's concert he and I danced together (in our little limited space)...again I'm thinking he's gay so no biggie. I mean how many men do you know will dance to Get Me Bodied and KNOW THE STEPS??? *side eye* Finally she got tired of him talking to me, so she sat on his lap during Bey's slow song set and mean mugged. LOL...me and sis thought it was funny and unnecessary. Her man was talking to me it's not like I was seeking him out. But today Sis did tell me that if it was HER man she would have had to put his azz on time out for being so friggin friendly. lol...I still think dude is gay, but whatever.
So that was pretty much it. No real surprises during the concert. Bey sang and danced her azz off. Jay came out, but I don't think anyone was really surprised by that either.

Happy Father's Day
I've been seeing conditional Father's Day shout outs all over FB and Twitter. I think it's interesting that MANY people include stuff like, "Happy Father's Day to the REAL fathers" - so snarky. I don't remember seeing snarky comments like that on Mother's Day...definitely a sign of the times.
Inspite of that...I want to wish ALL fathers a Happy Father's Day. If you haven't been on top of your game...it's never too late to get your shit together.
